I am a photographer and a curator based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I have studied in Brussels, Madrid, Sofia, and Mexico City. In 2014, I co-founded the Foto Fabrika Festival - an annual venue for worldwide contemporary photography held in Sofia. I have been twice the finalist of the Canon Picture of the Year contest in Sofia, Bulgaria, and once of the EFTI photo contest in Madrid, Spain.
In 2020 I published my first photo book Palermo. Box. Me., due to an art residency in Palermo, Sicily. An intimate story about the road, the journey, loneliness, and a definite separation.
I have a label project called 'The Black Box'. It is ongoing and is designed to pop up in different locations and capture the relationship between the photographer and her model beyond the conveyor belt of selfies and the staging of one's own images.
I prefer face-to-face - direct - communication, having my camera as the sole medium between you and me. So, come to one of my events, meet me there, or drop me a line. Either way, I'd love to get to know you.
